Vagina vs Vulva

Not many people know the difference between the vagina and the vulva or how to clean either one. We’re here to clear that up for you!

The vagina is the internal part of the female genitals while the vulva is the external portion. Since your vagina is an internal organ, you don’t have to worry about cleaning it. It cleans itself and maintains the correct pH balance! But you can, and should, clean your vulva.

It’s important to be careful even when cleaning the external area near your vagina. Only use products that won’t mess with you pH balance of 3.8 to 4.5. Use sensitive products — stay away from douches that can cause inflammation, alter your vaginal pH, or increase your risk of STIs, bacterial vaginosis, and yeast infections.

Our Queen V products have a healthy pH of 4.5 to 5 perfect for cleaning your V safely! Check out our V bar for a rosewater and aloe-infused, ph-balanced cleansing.
