How to De-Stress During Quarantine

I don't know about you, but I've been getting a little stir-crazy. Spending so much time cooped up at home can be disorienting, so here are a couple ways you can de-stress and incorporate practicing self-love during quarantine! 

Journal

Reflect on your time in quarantine, or just relax by drawing cute designs to become the amazing bujo designer you always wanted to be! I’ve been loving my Sunday nights creating my weekly spreads, and planning out everything I need to do during the upcoming week. 

Plan your days out 

Scheduling is key. Create a set schedule to establish some sort of normalcy in your life and, and don’t forget to separate time between working from home and resting!

Take “me-time”

It’s normal to feel weird or uncomfortable during this time. Take time off to rest and get re-adjusted. I take at least thirty minutes a day to chill out and watch an episode of whatever I’m watching on Netflix. 

Take walks around your neighborhood 

Stay safe and 6 feet away from everyone, but spend some time in the sun! Whenever I go out for a walk, I come back home with completely new energy and so much happiness.  

Bake 

Yes, everyone and their mother seems to be baking these days, but that just proves how much fun it is! Mastering a new cookie recipe can be so much fun, especially considering you’ll have all of those cookies to eat after!
