Foods That Are V Healthy

Vaginal pH imbalances can come from a number of things, ranging from hormonal fluctuations and what kind of body wash you use. What is also very important for your vaginal health is to keep track of what you are eating every day. Here are some foods (and drinks) that could keep your V in check!

Yogurt

Yogurt is full of live and active probiotics. Probiotic-rich foods (not only yogurt but also kimchi and kombucha) are always great for your gut health along with your vaginal health! Yogurt works to fight off vaginal infections by balancing your pH levels.

Cranberry

Cranberry has been known to support urinary tract health. They are jam-packed with antioxidants and acidic compounds to help prevent future UTIs from occurring. Remember, don’t drink the sugary stuff aka cranberry juice cocktail. Stick to eating cranberries or drinking straight cranberry juice with no added sugar.

Garlic

It has been shown that garlic has antimicrobial properties. Antimicrobial properties can protect you from odor-causing bacterias and things like mold or mildew. With that said, garlic is great from preventing the spread of yeast infections!

Apples

If you’re looking to have more fun in bed, you should try to eat more apples! Apples have this cool thing called phloridzin which can increase your sex drive and natural lubrication. They have even been known to help achieve better orgasms.

Leafy Green

On the subject of better lubrication and better orgasms, eating leafy greens like spinach and kale can increase blood flow. And when there is more blood flow in the V, there’s better stimulation!

Water

You didn’t forget about water, did you? Water is the elixir of life! You should be consuming plenty of water for your overall health but it can play a big part in your vaginal self-cleaning process and help balance your pH levels, as well.
