Queen VIPs: What is Your Favorite Affirmation?

We asked our Queen VIP brand ambassadors what their favorite affirmations they say to themselves every day and why it helps them. Here are some of their answers!

"Whether you think you can or you think you can't, you're right. I say this to myself to show the power of our minds and the impact it has on how we view the world and our success. The mind is powerful and if we fill it with positivity and believe in ourselves we are bound to be on the right path. The more we believe in ourselves, the better the outcome. How we treat ourselves and instill confidence with ourselves is the basis of how everyone we interact with will treat us and respect us."

"My favorite affirmation I say to myself is: “No one is you and that is your power.” I say this because I believe it’s extremely important to realize that being yourself is the most amazing thing you can ever be. In a world where many people are trying to imitate someone else, staying true to yourself is a beautiful and powerful thing."

-Kristen B.

"My favorite affirmation to say to myself is Isaiah 54:17. This scripture from the Bible states that “No Weapon Formed Against Me Shall Prosper.” Not only did this scripture allow me to get through the passing of my grandfather, but it gives me the strength I need daily to get through any obstacle thrown at me."

-Zoie T.

"My favorite affirmation I say to myself is, “ What you want exists, don't stop until you get it”. This is my favorite affirmation because I feel like it reminds me every day to do what I have to do in order to reach my goals, whether it's academic, physical or mental. It reminds me that I am capable of conquering any hardships that get in the way of my goal and sometimes it is ok to take longer to reach my goals, as long as I get where I want to be."

-Giselle Z.

"I am allowed to take up space. I am powerful and resilient. Success is my natural state. I think I tell myself that a lot because I often deal with self-doubt and imposter syndrome. I realize that I am my toughest critic and a lot of times even though I am fully equipped to handle a job or task, I cancel myself. This affirmation reminds me that I am beyond capable and I belong in every room I enter."

-Caleyah G.

"I fell in love with Maya Angelou in high school, following her death, after having read I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings. Angelou once said, "Nothing can dim the light that shines from within." This is an affirmation I remind myself of often. It keeps me positive, even in the most negative of situations."
